Summer Leadership Institute

Hosted by the Pavlis Leadership students immediately before their international travel experience, this institute on leadership provides high school students an opportunity to expand their leadership abilities and gives them tools to make a difference in their local schools and communties. Students in the program will:

• explore a variety of different leadership styles through hands-on activities
• learn from role models in positions of leadership
• discover personal leadership abilities and how to apply them to daily life
• investigate the qualities of strong leaders and discover what makes them effective
• meet students who have traveled and worked abroad to learn how they have impacted the lives of others globally
• maintain communication with Pavlis host students as they travel abroad after the leadership institute
• meet talented students from other high schools with similar interests
• plan ways to make a difference in their local high schools and communities
• gain insight into personal strengths and evaluate options for life after high school
