Video filmed and produced by one of the Extreme Blue teams. This particular team, sponsored by Austin Energy CIO Andres Carvallo, worked on a project that uses state-of-the-art meters to capture real-time information about electricity consumption ... and uses the captured real-time data and real-time event information to improve the effectiveness of the Austin Energy business processes. In this Extreme Blue case, it improved both the effectiveness and efficiency of the Austin Energy business process to detect power outages; dispatch service professionals to the optimal locations to repair faults; and support their clients with more meaningful information about when the power supply is expected to be resumed.
